Our Activities

All our work is focussed on ensuring that our children receive their full entitlement to their rights as outlined in the United Nations Convention of Rights of the Child

We are proud to promote Sporting Achievement at Priorsford with our pupils participating in local, regional and national events.

School buses provide transport for children travelling from Cardrona. Children entitled to this service are provided with a bus pass from the local authority.

All pupils receive musical input from Mrs Tucker, our music specialist. We are also fortunate to have a visiting Strings teacher who provides tuition to some of our P5 - P7 pupils.

We seek to enrich the pupils' learning experiences through planned visits. We are fortunate to be part of the vibrant community of Peebles and to have good access to the rest of the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. Our Primary 7 pupils enjoy an annual residential to Dalguise in Perthshire.

Through our learning through the 1+2 initiative and all our pupils receive French language teaching. In addition our P4 pupils will now receive Spanish lessons.

Priorsford Primary School
